2022 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier C: DE vs POR Scorecard & Match Update: Denmark defeated Portugal by nine wickets in the final of the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier C to enter the final qualifiers of the Europe region. In the third-place match, Belgium beat Spain by five wickets with the help of a six off the last ball.
Playing first, Spain scored 145/9 in 20 overs in the third-place match, with Lorraine Burns scoring 47 runs. Khalid Ahmadi and Shaghrai Shifat took three wickets each for Belgium.
In reply to the target, Belgium won with a last-ball six off the last ball by ‘Man of the Match’ Shahryar Butt (24 balls 43). Besides this, Ali Raza played a fast inning of 50 runs in 29 balls.

Playing first in the final, Portugal’s team could only score 110/9 in 20 overs, in response to which Denmark won by losing just one wicket in 13.1 overs.
Taranjit Bharaj was adjudged man of the match for his unbeaten knock of 58 runs. Apart from him, captain Hamid Shah scored an unbeaten 44.
Denmark dominated the eight-team tournament. In the group stage, he had to face defeat in just one match, but other than that, he performed well. Denmark’s Nicolas Legsgaard scored the highest 189 runs and took nine wickets.
The 2022 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier A will be held from 12 to 19 July, and the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier B will be held from 24 to 31 July.
One team from these two tournaments will qualify for the European region’s final qualifiers, where Germany and Jersey have already made it as byes. Two teams from the Europe region will qualify for the 2024 World Cup.
