Moises Henriques survived a major accident
A major accident was avoided in the match between Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League (BBL 2021-22) on Monday. In fact, after winning the toss, the ball was in the hands of Henry Thornton in the 10th over of the Sydney Sixers’ innings and came out to bat.
On the third ball of this over, batsman Jack Edwards played a strong shot. The ball went to the non-striker’s end, so Henriques jumped up and opened his legs so that the shot went out. But he could not escape the ball and the ball came near his guard and groin. After the ball hit, he sat on the crease for a while but then he took a long breath and stood up. A video of this has been shared from the official Twitter handle of BBL.
