AUS vs SL: Aussies Created History, Chased 367 In The Second Unofficial Test: On the last day of the second unofficial Test at Hambantota, Australia ‘A’ chased down a massive target of 367 runs to beat Sri Lanka ‘A’ by five wickets to take the two-match series 2-0. In the first unofficial Test, Australia defeated the hosts by 68 runs.
Playing ahead of the score 37/1 on the third day, Australia ‘A’ suffered three major setbacks, and their score was 69/4. Here the Sri Lankan team took hold of the match, but after that, Jimmy Pearson and Henry Hunt’s partnership changed the match’s course. Both put on a partnership of 151 runs for the fifth wicket and took the team past 200.

Henry Hunt scored a brilliant century of 107 runs. Sri Lanka ‘A’ had a chance to come back after being dismissed for 220, but Pearson stitched an unbeaten 150-run partnership with Aaron Hardy to give the team a thumping five-wicket victory.
Jimmy Pearson scored an unbeaten 128, while Aaron Hardy played a quick inning of 78 runs in 94 balls. Lakshita Manasinghe took three wickets, and Dilshan Madhushanka took two wickets for Sri Lanka ‘A’.
Before the unofficial Test series, a two-match ODI was played between the two teams, which was tied one-on-one. Accordingly, the Australian A team’s tour of Sri Lanka was successful.
