ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier Group C 2022: Four matches were played on the last day of the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier C group stage. In Group 1, hosts Belgium beat Denmark by 12 runs, and Gibraltar beat Hungary by four wickets, while in Group 2, Spain beat Portugal by eight wickets, and Malta beat Israel by 16 runs. Belgium and Denmark from Group 1 and Spain and Portugal from Group 2 advanced to the semi-finals.
Playing first in Group 1, Hungary scored 134/8 in 20 overs, in response to which Gibraltar won by losing six wickets in the last over. Iain Latin was adjudged man of the match for his unbeaten knock of 22 runs apart from taking four wickets for 25 runs.

In Group 1, hosts Belgium scored 161/9 in 20 overs, in response to which Denmark’s team could only score 149/9. Murid Ekrami (7 balls 17 and 2/33) was adjudged man of the match for his all-around performance.
Playing first in Group 2, Portugal was bundled out for just 77 runs in 17.2 overs, in response to which Spain won in 9 overs, losing just two wickets. Yasir Ali was adjudged man of the match for taking three wickets for just eight runs.
In Group 2, Malta’s team was all out after scoring 136 runs in 19.4 overs, in response to which Israel’s team could only score 120/7 in 20 overs. Heinrich Gerike (26 balls 48) was adjudged man of the match for his scintillating innings.
On 2 July, Belgium will face Portugal in the first semi-final, and Denmark will face Spain in the second semi-final. On 2 July, Gibraltar will face Israel, and Malta will face Hungary in the fifth-place playoff semi-finals.
