ICC Rankings: Between the second ODI match between India and West Indies (IND vs WI), the ICC has released the latest ranking of batsmen in ODI cricket (ICC Men’s ODI Batter Ranking). In this list of top-10 batsmen, Pakistan’s strong batsman Fakhar Zaman and England’s Test captain Joe Root have also made their place. Pakistan captain Babar Azam still remains at the top. At the same time, former Indian captain Virat Kohli is second and captain Rohit Sharma is in third place.
Babar Azam’s reign continues
In the ICC Rankings of batsmen in ODI cricket released by the ICC, the reign of Pakistani captain Babar Azam remains intact. In the same limited-overs cricket, Rohit Sharma, who became the new captain of Team India, has benefited a lot from playing a brilliant half-century in the first ODI against West Indies. On the basis of which he has come very close to former captain Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli, who is second on the list, currently has 828 rating points. At the same time, Rohit Sharma is in third place with 807 rating points. In the next two matches to be played against West Indies, both the batsmen will be looking to strengthen their position by performing brilliantly.
Joe Root and Fakhar Zaman made their place in the top-10
Pakistan’s swashbuckling batsman Fakhar Zaman and England Test team captain Joe Root have registered their names in the list of current top-10 batsmen of ODI cricket (ICC Men’s ODI Batter Ranking). In this list, Fakhar Zaman is ninth, while Root is present in tenth place. South Africa’s veteran wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Cock has retained his fourth position and Australia’s limited-overs team captain Aaron Finch has retained his fifth position.
Jonny Bairstow is in the sixth, David Warner is in seventh and Rossi th der Dussen is present in eighth place. West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Shai Hope suffered a loss of 1 rating point due to cheap dismissal in the first ODI against Team India. Due to this he also had to be out of the top 10 list of ICC Men’s ODI Batter Ranking.
