Another bad batting for West Indies
Chasing the target of 185 runs, West Indies’ batting went on exactly the same as it did in the previous match. Once again the start was bad. Deepak Chahar gave an amazing start to Team India by dismissing both the opener batsmen on the score of only runs. After that Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell scored runs.
Powell played a short but exciting inning of 25 runs off 14 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. But after his dismissal, the entire West Indies team was scattered like a pack of cards. In the end, the Windies could only reach the score of 167 runs and lost the match by a margin of 17 runs. Nicholas Pooran, continuing his previous match form here, played an innings of 61 runs. This is his third consecutive fifty. Romario Shepherd also scored 29 runs off the balls in the last over. But, the West Indies team could never play unitedly in this series. Due to this, he had to face a clean sweep defeat in the T20 series after the ODI series.
