Bangladesh won the toss, decided to bowl first
In the league stage of the Under-19 Asia cup 2021, India and Bangladesh made it to the semi-finals by winning their 2-2 matches. Both the teams had to face defeat at the hands of Pakistan in their league match. In this very important match played at Sharjah ground, Bangladesh captain Rakibul Hasan won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Indian team reached 243 runs

Chasing the target of 248 runs, the Bangladesh team failed miserably to repeat their last year’s performance. Bangladesh fans were expecting a good performance from the team. But Bangladesh’s batsmen laid down their arms in the very beginning. The Bangladeshi batsman is completely helpless in front of the bowlers of Team India. Bangladesh’s entire team was all out for only 140 runs. Ariful Islam scored the highest 42 runs for Bangladesh. Rajvardhan, Ravi Kumar, Raj Bawa, and Vicky Ostwal took 2-2 wickets for the Indian team.
Sri Lankan challenge will face in the final
Team India has secured its place for the record 8th time in the final of the Under-19 Asia cup 2021 by registering a one-sided victory in the semi-final match. Where he will face the challenge of the Sri Lankan team. Sri Lanka reached the final after defeating Pakistan in the second semi-final match of the Under-19 Asia Cup 2021.
In the second semi-final match played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan team, batting first, could only score 147 runs in 44.5 overs. In reply, Pakistan’s team was bundled out for 125 runs in 49.3 overs. Sri Lanka won by 22 runs and made their place in the final.
