Deepak Chahar suffered a thigh muscle strain during the third and final T20 International cricket match against West Indies in Kolkata in February this year. Due to this, he was ruled out of almost half of the IPL. Although he was expected to join the team later this week. This right-arm fast bowler is currently in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) located in Bangalore. And working hard to get his fitness back. But, now in the meantime, the news is coming out that Deepak’s old back injury is troubling him again. And, because of this, he can be out of the entire season of this year.
Deepak was sold at auction at a very expensive cost
Deepak Chahar was included back in his team in the IPL 2022 auction by Chennai Super Kings by paying a huge price of Rs 14 crore. He was the best bowler sold in this year’s auction. The right-arm swing bowler has an excellent art of taking wickets with the new ball in the beginning. Also, Deepak has now matured a lot in batting as well. He has so far taken 59 wickets in 63 matches of IPL. However, when the CSK team management was asked about his re-injury, he said, “We don’t know about his back injury.
