Rudra form was adopted after a slow start
After losing the toss, Jos Buttler and Devdutt Paddikal got Rajasthan off to a brilliant start of 97 runs. Paddikal was bowled by Sunil Narine after scoring 24 runs. After that Butler, along with captain Sanju Samson, added 67 runs for the second wicket to take his team to a big total.
Butler started his innings in a very calm manner. He could not hit a single boundary in the first two overs. But soon he adopted his fierce form and in the third over of the innings, he hit fours and sixes in successive deliveries of Shivam Mavi after hitting fours and sixes off Umesh Yadav. After that, he took a lot of news of all the bowlers of Kolkata and shot all around the field. Butler completed his second century of the season with a six-off Cummins.
