How much will each player get and player purse?
IPl franchise retains only one player before the auction, that player will be paid Rs 14 crore. If 2 players are retained by the IPL franchise, the first retained player will be paid Rs 14 crore, while the second retained player will be paid Rs 10 crore.
If 3 players are retained, they will be paid Rs 15 crore, Rs 11 crore and Rs 6 crore respectively. And, if a franchise uses its quota and retains 4 players, the first player to be retained will be paid Rs 16 crore. Where the second player is retained, he will get Rs 12 crore, the third and fourth players will get Rs 6 crore and Rs 8 crore respectively.
