IPL 2022 RR vs KKR: Chahal and Butler made a special record, which no other player could do in the history of IPL

IPL 2022 RR vs KKR: In the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), in the match played between Kolkata and Rajasthan at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Monday, for the first time in the history of the league, something that no one had imagined happened. In the first match, Jos Buttler scored a quick century. This is Butler’s second century in IPL 2022. After that, Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) took the first hat-trick of the season and gave his team a thrilling victory by 7 runs. This was the first time in the history of IPL when a player of a team scored a century and a hat-trick in the same match.

Chahal crossed the boat of Rajasthan with his magical bowling 

IPL 2022 RR vs KKR: Kolkata’s victory seemed almost certain till the 16th over in response to the massive score of 217 runs put up by Rajasthan Royals in the match. But, the game took a dramatic turn after that, and Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) took four wickets including a hat-trick in the 17th over to completely tilt the match towards Rajasthan. In this (RR vs KKR) the wicket of Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer was also included. Apart from Iyer, Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) showed the way to the pavilion to Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins to complete his hat-trick. With this, Chahal has become the first bowler to take a hat-trick this season. In this match, he took 5 wickets spending 40 runs in a spell of 4 overs and for this, he was also awarded the man of the match award.

Chahal becomes 21st bowler to take hat-trick wicket in IPL

Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) is the 21st bowler to take a hat-trick in IPL (RR vs KKR) and the fifth bowler for Rajasthan Royals. Before him, Ajit Chandila, Praveen Tambe, Shane Watson and Shreyas Gopal have taken hat-tricks for the Rajasthan team in IPL. Apart from Chahal in Indian bowlers, Lakshmipathy Balaji, Amit Mishra, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Azil Chandela, Praveen Tambe, Axar Patel, Jaydev Unadkat, Shreyas Gopal, and Harshal Patel have managed to do this feat. Out of these, Mishra has the highest number of three hat-tricks.
