On the basis of which Rajasthan Royals, batting first, scored a mountainous score of 217 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. In reply, the team of Kolkata Knight Riders could reach only 210 runs.

IPL 2022 RR vs KKR: Jos Buttler and Devdutt Paddikal got Rajasthan (Rajasthan Royals) to bat first after losing the toss and got off to a great start 97 runs. Paddikal was bowled by Sunil Narine after scoring 24 runs. After that Buttler, along with captain Sanju Samson, put on 67 runs for the second wicket and in the end, Shimron Hetmyer scored 26 runs in just 13 balls to take his team to a big total. Butler scored his second century of this season, scoring 103 runs in 61 balls with 9 fours and 5 sixes. Sanju also played a quick inning of 38 runs in just 19 balls. For Kolkata Knight Riders, Naren took the maximum of 2 wickets.

RR vs KKR: Chasing a huge target, Kolkata Knight Riders got off to an unfortunate start. Naren was run out without playing the ball. However, after that Australian captain, Aaron Finch and Shreyas Iyer put the team in a strong position by sharing runs for the second wicket. Finch played an explosive inning of 58 runs in 28 balls. After the dismissal of Finch, Kolkata lost wickets at frequent intervals. Andre Russell could not even open his account.
RR vs KKR: Although Captain Iyer remained at the other end. And, keep running the game in a great way. But, the game once again took a dramatic turn in the 17th over. In this over, Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) took a total of 4 wickets including a hat-trick. Iyer’s wicket was also included. Iyer scored a brilliant 85. Umesh Yadav scored 21 runs off just 9 balls to make the match exciting but in the end, the victory was won by Rajasthan Royals. Chahal took a total of 5 wickets in the match.
