The start of the tournament on Saturday will greatly benefit the broadcaster. With this, 3 matches will be played in the first 2 days and a good atmosphere will be created. Whereas this is impossible to happen since the tournament starts on Sunday. However, no statement has been issued by any of the BCCI and broadcaster regarding this matter so far.
All matches of league stage will be played at 4 places of Maharashtra
It was told by the BCCI to inform all the franchises about the schedule by 20 February. But after these new cases, now it may take a little more time. The board has not yet made any announcement regarding the venue of the match. According to the information, despite the continuous decrease in the case of Corona, all the matches of the IPL 2022 league stage are being planned in Maharashtra itself.
For this, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has included its 4 grounds Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne, DY Patil, and Pune. But providing ground for practice to all 10 teams will be a big challenge. However, MCA is fully engaged in its preparation.
