IPL 2022 Final: The excitement of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League is increasing now. This year all the matches of the league stage are being held in two cities of Maharashtra, Mumbai, and Pune. The venues for the playoff and final ( IPL 2022 Final ) match after the league phase have not been decided yet. However, now the news is coming out that, the playoff matches of IPL 2022 will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. According to the news. Qualifier-1 and Eliminator matches will be played in Kolkata while Qualifier-2 and Final matches will be held in Ahmedabad. And, the board is going to make an official announcement soon.
IPL Governing Council meeting to be held in next few days
InsideSports has reported quoting BCCI sources that an official announcement regarding the venue of the playoff match will be made only after the IPL Governing Council meeting is to be held in the next few days. It has been said in the report that there is a proposal to organize a playoff match at the new stadium in Lucknow. The UP Cricket Association has made a formal request to the BCCI and the IPL Governing Council to host a qualifier at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. However, the chances of the IPL Governing Council accepting this proposal are said to be very low.
All league stage matches are being played in Maharashtra itself.

The league stage matches of the 15th season are currently being played at the Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium, and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. This time spectators have also been allowed to enter the stadium.
