Pakistani journalist had to be trolled for his big claims
A Pakistani journalist has made a big claim after the mega auction of IPL 2022. He believes that, if Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi could take part in this auction, then he would have got a bid of more than 200 crores. Pakistani journalist tweeted and wrote, “If Shaheen Shah Afridi was in IPL Mega Auction. He would go for 200 crores.” He is being trolled a lot by fans on social media regarding his tweet. Because Afridi is undoubtedly a great fast bowler. But, the price of Rs 200 crores turned out to be very high.
Pakistan players are not given a chance to play in IPL
Let us tell you that due to the long-standing political dispute between the Government of India and Pakistan, Pakistani players are not allowed to play in the IPL. Due to these controversies, the 2 most arch-rival teams of world cricket have not been able to play bilateral series against each other since 2013. Now both these teams play matches against each other in ICC tournaments themselves.
The last time these two teams faced each other was in the group stage match of the T20 World cup 2021. Where Team India had to face an embarrassing defeat of 10 wickets. This was the first victory of Pakistan against India in the history of the World Cup. Now once again these two teams are going to face each other at the end of this year. The match between these two teams is to be played on 24 October in the group stage of T20 World Cup 2022 to be played in Australia.
