SA-W vs ENG-W: England v South Africa women’s Test match ends in the rain: The only Test between England and South Africa women’s team played in Taunton was a draw. Due to rain on the fourth and final day of the match, only 43.1 overs could be played, and South Africa scored 181/5 in the second innings. England’s Natalie Shever was adjudged Player of the Match for her brilliant innings of 169.

Playing ahead of the score 55/3 on the third day, South Africa suffered a fourth blow at 64, and captain Sune Luos was dismissed for ten runs. From here, Tumi Sekhukhune (33*) disappointed the England team by sharing an unbeaten 63 for the fifth wicket with Lizelle Lee (36) and an unbeaten 63 for the sixth wicket with Marianne Kapp (43*).
Marijane Cap scored the highest 193 runs in both the innings of the match, while England’s Kate Cross took the maximum six wickets in the game. A three-match ODI series will be played between the two teams from July 11 to July 18, followed by a three-match T20 series from July 21 to July 25.
