2. Jersey
“Jersey” is a drama movie made on cricket. The film is a Bollywood remake of the Telugu film Jersey. Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapoor will be in the lead roles in the Hindi version of this film. The film will be directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. Shahid will be seen as a cricketer in this film. This movie was earlier to be released on 31 December 2021. But due to the increasing cases of the corona, its release date has been extended. Although its release date has not been disclosed yet. But after watching its teaser, fans are eagerly waiting for it.
3. Shabash Mittu
The story of Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team and veteran batsman, is going to be seen on the film screen. Born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Mithali is an example for Indian women players. Film director Srijit Mukherjee thought of filming Mithali’s story on screen so that crores of daughters of the country could move forward by taking inspiration from this Sachin Tendulkar of women’s cricket.
Actress Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing the role of Mithali in this film. The direction of this film has been completed. And on February 4, it will be released in cinemas.
